Site assessment
Inspection of the receiving structure, local conditions and positioning of the roof anchor points.
DOCUMENTED PROJECT · OCTOBER 2026
A documented Rio de Janeiro project: roof anchors, lifeline connections and eight recorded pull tests in October 2026.
PORTFOLIO / PROJECTS
JFS Empreiteira documented the installation of roof anchor points and a lifeline system at Rio 2 Shopping, in Rio de Janeiro's Barra Olímpica area. A technical report dated October 14, 2026 covers site conditions, components, assembly, point identification and test records.
For fall-protection systems, receiving structures, anchor positions, access areas and traceability must be considered as part of project planning. The report records an initial inspection and anchor positioning followed by the documented installation.
The report describes AISI 316 stainless steel eye-bolt anchors, specified fixings and steel lifeline cable connections with documented accessories. Individual labels link the installed points to the photographic and testing records.
Eight points were tested on October 15, 2026. The test sheet records 1,500 kgf applied for two minutes per point, with no reported displacement or deformation. All eight results are marked approved. These findings relate solely to the tested installation and its recorded conditions.
The material includes a project control sheet, work-at-height references, component identification, photographs, test results and an ART reference. System use is subject to the design conditions, qualified technical instructions and applicable inspections; this summary does not replace the complete report.
All technical figures relate only to the documented October 2026 installation. Requirements for other systems need project-specific professional assessment.
FROM DOCUMENTS TO EXECUTION
At Rio 2 Shopping, the documented scope involved reviewing the receiving structure, installing roof anchor points, connecting the lifeline and conducting recorded tensile tests. The details below come from the technical report supplied for this particular project.

Inspection of the receiving structure, local conditions and positioning of the roof anchor points.
The report describes drilling, cleaning, the specified chemical anchoring system and device installation.
Documented components include AISI 316 stainless steel eye anchors, 3/16-inch steel cable, thimbles, cable clamps and sequential identification tags.
Static pull tests were recorded using controlled proof load and holding time for each point.
The original report includes test results, photographic records, supporting component certificates and an ART technical responsibility reference.
FROM DOCUMENTS TO EXECUTION
The October 2026 test sheet lists points ANC-01 to ANC-08. Each point received a recorded proof load of 1,500 kgf for two minutes. The report states there was no displacement or deformation and marks all eight as approved.
| Anchor ID | Location | Proof load | Duration | Result |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| ANC-01 | Roof | 1.500 kgf | 2 min | Approved |
| ANC-02 | Roof | 1.500 kgf | 2 min | Approved |
| ANC-03 | Roof | 1.500 kgf | 2 min | Approved |
| ANC-04 | Roof | 1.500 kgf | 2 min | Approved |
| ANC-05 | Roof | 1.500 kgf | 2 min | Approved |
| ANC-06 | Roof | 1.500 kgf | 2 min | Approved |
| ANC-07 | Roof | 1.500 kgf | 2 min | Approved |
| ANC-08 | Roof | 1.500 kgf | 2 min | Approved |

Eight roof anchors, identified as ANC-01 through ANC-08, were individually tested and reported as approved.
The test sheet records a proof load of 1,500 kgf (about 15 kN), sustained for two minutes at each point.
Yes. The report records steel cable, lifeline connections and associated anchorage components.
No. Each site requires its own engineering, substrate assessment, access planning and inspections.
